2014 Solstice Drum Count
updated: Jun 19, 2014, 8:00 AM

By the Dedicated Staff of edhat.com

The official start of summer is almost here! This Saturday the Summer Solstice parade will be cruising down State Street in bright colors, fantastical floats, and a lot of drums. The theme this year is "Games" and will feature more than 1,000 participants. The parade starts at Noon on State and Cota on Saturday, June 21st. It will cruise all the way down State Street until turning on Micheltorena to end at Alameda Park.

In typical edhat style, the Dedicated Staff will be watching the parade and diligently counting drums as they pass by. If you're a paid Edhat subscriber enter your guess below.

Click here to see the 2013 drum count total and here to see 2012.

RULES:

  • Must be a PAID Edhat subscriber to play
  • Only one guess per person
  • The guessing ends on Saturday, June 21st at 9 am
  • If there is a tie, the Edhat Dog will be woken from her Solstice nap to decide the winner.

PRIZE: The person who guesses the closest number will receive a super awesome and stylish edhat t-shirt and 2 tickets to the All-Star Comedy Night on Wednesday June 25th. More info about the comedy night here.

[Voting closed at 9am on June 21st.]
