Cops on Shoreline
updated: Jun 19, 2014, 9:06 AM

By Edhat Subscriber

Does anyone know what's happening up on Shoreline Drive? While walking our dog in Shoreline Park, my husband reports seeing two police cars, one driven up onto a residence lawn.

Deleted poster probably used the antonym of the word he/she intended anyway. Plethora vs. Dearth.

Potholes in my lawn I've found that it's not wise
To leave my garden untended
'Cause eyes have now pardoned all laws of privacy

Shoreline Park is kinda long, which block was this on? As a resident here, I would like to know what's up in my 'hood. And, @144: huh?

Photographer climbed over the barrier at Shoreline to take pictures of the water. People called to have his welfare checked they were worried he might fall.

I don't think the cops would drive up on someone's front lawn for a photographer on the other side of the park. Probably a different call Roger.

@164 - There are houses with lawns on the cliff side of Shoreline too.

I saw the whole thing. Yes, someone jumped the fence at the Don MacGillivray (sp?) lookout. You know, the one that the city had fenced off for safety reasons? Because of the ever-so-slight cracks in the walls that have not expanded in years? Because they were worried it would collapse with someone on it? You know, the same lookout that the Coastal Commission would not allowed to be removed? Because they think feel erosion should take its natural course and the lookout should collapse on someone down on the beach instead? Yeah, that one. Welcome to Bizarro World.
