Too funny 797

I like the views from the end of Stears Wharf looking back toward the mountain and from the top of the mountain looking down over the city.

I agree with @798... my most beloved picture of SB is taken from the breakwater looking toward the pier and mountains in a warm, low summer light.

Second best is a picture I took from TV hill looking down at the waterfront and pier.

I love the pictures of our Court House, and the sunken garden, and the Mission pics also showing our Rose garden.

Keep LA 100 miles away.

797 is quick witted, funny. thanks. It's fun when there's lighthearted volleying on Edhat.

The view from Francesci Park has always been my favorite ever since I moved here in 1979.

Don't understand 808, it's always been 100 miles away, always will be.

Back when the parking lot was open, the Nancarrow building next to KEYT studios.

Not in my neighborhood 827! LA is encroaching in the form of people who drive waaaay too fast down the hill, put up gates in front of their homes and block everyone's view of the ocean with their high walls. They also don't walk up and down the street with their dogs, they drive everywhere. If they want to live like they're in LA, they should stay there. This once-country neighborhood has gone LA shishi.

797, I guess you haven't read the News Press in the last few years.....

I like the 360* view from the Courthouse Tower. I always recommend it to visitors. But I agree with the previous posters who said the view looking from Stearns Wharf & also The Courthouse & Mission. I also think the Arlington Theater lit up at night is iconic.

The most beautiful spot and view in SB is from QAD. Yes, I know it is Summerland, but it qualifies.

Actually 832P, the question asked is "what local view represents SB the MOST?"

The anti-liberal views presented by the News Press are based solely on the opinions of only two people, Scott Steepleton and Wendy McCaw.

I like the view from Shoreline Park to the wharf. Especially if the moon is full.

My favorite view is from the tables outside Sushi Go-Go at the harbor (under Brophy's) in the late afternoon as the fishermen unload, with the sailboat masts in the foreground and mountains in the background.
