Local Man Causes Disturbance in Carmel
updated: Jun 13, 2014, 3:46 PM

The Salinas Californian is reporting that a 51-year-old Santa Barbara man was arrested on Friday at a Carmel hotel after making threats and stating he killed Osama Bin Laden.

Lawrence Frassoldati allegedly began yelling and cursing in the pool area of the Carmel Hyatt telling the hotel staff to "call the cops and make sure they bring their guns because it's not going to end well." He also stated that he had killed Osama Bin Laden.

Monterey County Sheriffs arrived and Frassoldati claimed to have an AR-15 and would kill the first person to walk through his hotel room door. Deputies eventually subdued him by taser multiple times. He allegedly caused $2,000 worth of damage to the hotel and also kicked out a patrol vehicle's window.
