Hump Day, I don't celebrate Hump Day anymore so it's just like every other day now for me but for those of you that do, Happy Hump Day! Real mystery about that midtown gas odor last week calls came in from Pueblo and 101 to Garden to 400 West Carrillo, hovering around the West Side a bit. I don't know how many calls; seemed to be a few, heard one on West Islay the other day possibly coming from the creek over there 400 West. Who knows if it's gas or possibly Pond Scum. There seems to be a lot of Pond Scum around the Santa Barbara Area, Especially lately.

I was really concerned about that gas odor because of something I read awhile back, like 20 plus years ago. I read this book called "The greatest thing since sliced bread" It was about the October 20th 1944 Gas Explosion in East Cleveland Ohio that claimed 131 lives. The East Cleveland Gas Explosion occurred for a reason other than a leak (you'll just happen to read the book to find out the reason, or search the net). I thought if there was a leak in Santa Barbara it would have to be pretty big to be spread out all over town like that. Of course the gas company would know about a leak, wouldn't they? I thought about it so much because it worried me some that some of my fellow Santa Barbarians could be in danger. But if the fire department thought there was a problem they would have done something about it. I wonder if that sort of thing could have anything to do with an impending earthquake. Does anyone know? I'm wondering what other people's thoughts might be on the subject of the gas odor just before last weekend. If you care to share please do.

Sure is a lot Road Rage going on just heard a hit and run possibly involving a road rage over on East Pueblo, people using their vehicles as weapons that's what that's about. Never forget I was crossing Mason Street one day at Milpas this chump in a 1968 Midnight blue with black vinyl roof tries to run me down crossing the street. It was my right of way then he laughs I pointed at him as if to say "You are mine" A couple minutes later I was in McDonalds 29 North Milpas guess who walks in? The friggen idiot in the Chevy. He was a good runner he didn't get to buy or enjoy a meal from McDonalds on Milpas. I didn't catch him on purpose but I did chase him outta the store. Heard a Road Rage on Casitas Pass on Monday 415 physical fight on the Northbound onramp which SBSO momentarily closed, and then requested CHP respond for a road rage incident.

Will Friday the 13th is a Full Moon. It would be a good day to leave the vehicle home and bike to work.
