There are many hurt and vulnerable individuals in our community We are contacting media to not cover methods of suicide or pictures depicting suicide. The work can be a hard place to live in. Especially recently. Hoping peace is with them, in some form.

Anyone who thinks Roger has no compassion doesn't know Roger. 4 million was the cost of the failed barrier.

The suicide barrier only discourages the ambivalent... which according to mental health experts, is most people. The truly committed will always find a way.

So with all that tit for tat back and forth does anyone know what happened? Jump or saved?

No and I never heard if the last person jumped either..Maybe they don't want us to know after the waste of money that went into putting up a barricade that doesn't work. I guess if one wants the view to look like county jail bridge they were successful that way..I would never jump off any high place my arthritis is bad enough

Anyone who wants to commit suicide will find a way. I appreciate the barrier for reducing the number of painful/traumatic experiences our first responders have to face in the cleanup aftermath.
