Vintage Action Figure
updated: May 21, 2014, 9:40 AM

By Edhat Subscriber

I found this in a box of toys and I have no idea what action figure it is. It's about 6 inches tall and is made mostly of metal. I'm assuming its vintage but not sure. Can anyone help?

no, it's not VOLTRON. VOLTRON WAS A ROBOT WITH LIONS FOR HIS ARMS, LEGS, AND BODY. this is most likely a power ranger knock off.

There is an S on the belt. What is the symbol on the side of the boots? There are Voltron action figures, not the robot one, that have a similar V on it too.

Looks like a knockoff Power Ranger action figure. Watch out for the poisonous lead paint.

the voltron figures didn't have helmets. i'll go with #761, this looks to be a power ranger knock off. or maybe from one of the 16 different power ranger series. every series had a slightly different design.

I think I found the character. I can't post the link, but do a google search for "Himitsu Sentai Goranger toy guide" and you'll find him too.

804 here again. Found some more. Search for "Akaranger CGA-20".

If you had his whip, and his collar, and the stand, and the original box, he could be worth as much as 1500... cents.

So it's nothing worthy of Antiques Roadshow, but a fun find nonetheless!
