May 16, 2014 - Up River

Summer is upon us but John Wiley wanted to catch some of Spring's last colors out in the Valley. He flew up the river from hills near Alisal to the dam and got this great shot of mustard-covered hills.

In local news, The Restaurant Guy reports that a new restaurant serving "Central Coast cuisine" is coming soon, friends of Sierra Markee-Winkler gathered in her memory, and sap removal techniques are discussed. Read these stories and more below.
