VOTE BY MAIL BALLOTS ARRIVE
updated: May 05, 2014, 8:13 PM

By John Palminteri

The vote by mail ballots for the June primary election have arrived and the post office is sending them out tonight. In Santa Barbara County, there are 110,000 vote by mail ballots out of 194,000 registered voters. Besides the mail in ballot, you can also vote in person at the election office before election day, and of course, the traditional voters will be casting their ballots on election day, June 3. Santa Barbara County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor Joe Holland says traditionally those who vote by mail have a higher turnout than those voting in person.
