Scanner Reports 5-5-14
updated: May 05, 2014, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Monday. I went to a thrift store on Saturday; the one that had the size 15 shoes I passed up last month they were Timberlands almost new. They were still there bought em this time don't fit well but they are ok. They had some desk-top scanners there also. I bought an old 10 channel Bearcat. I should have tested it there because when I plugged it in here it caught on fire. At least I scored on the shoes and a couple books. My friend has better luck buying scanners from the place he always finds the handheld ones, there were 2 others one was mobile for a car 20 bucks. I wouldn't want a car one even if I had a car. I like the handheld ones nice and compact guess I'll just have to buy them new.

Been hearing some calls out there of dogs locked in vehicles with the windows up. Remember to leave the windows down a little, leave water and don't be gone too long. Saturday, heard an infant left alone in an RV call near the beach. That's really taking a chance with your kid; not too sure what the situation was there but I do hope the parent got in trouble. Anything could happen with those RV's damn thing could have caught fire some parents should not be parents.

I guess for the next month were gonna have some good old fashioned political mudslinging going back and forth should be interesting. I'll try to stay out of it after all don't think I'll be voting for those involved anyway. It should be a really good erection this year.

I was talking to my Mom on Sunday to find out what James Patterson book she wanted for Mother's Day. After telling me what book she wanted she told me she was sorry for the way she treated me when I was a kid. It kinda made me feel good I got a little emotional and was getting ready to say "That's all right Ma," when she added, "But you really were a pain in the Ars." Will so much for that. Anyway have a great Monday and Dog willing we will see you on Wednesday. Later, Roger
