Airport 737
updated: May 02, 2014, 8:50 AM

By Edhat Subscriber

Went by the airport today and noticed what I believe to be a 737-606 sitting on the apron behind Atlantic Aviation. Anyone know who's that could be, or why it has been in town these past few days?

What color is it? A few people in town own 737s. The red and gold is Ty's.

It's a private A320: HZ-XY7

Since it's registered to the National Air Service based in Saudi, one might make a reasonable guess about who flew it here. A Google search should reveal that this aircraft is well-travelled.

737s are easily identifiable by their non-round engine nacelles, boat tail, and step in the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer. A320s have a conic tail, triangular wingtip gates, round nacelles, etc. etc.

Owned by a Saudi company? Does that spell potential trouble?

It was the Governor of our State: Jerry Brown

According to the official website, the Governor is in LA today for an LA Chamber of Commerce luncheon so I doubt that his plane is at the SBA Airport. Brown flies commercial.

Why would a Saudi-owned airplane spell trouble?

It could be trouble -- could be a hit squad going after the "no fracking" perps.

I believe a Saudi investor purchased More Mesa and is in town to meet with stakeholders.

877 - If the 28 pages of the Joint Congressional Inquiry into 9/11, redacted by President Bush, are made public courtesy of HR428 currently making its way through Congress, we will find out how Saudi Arabia, allegedly an ally, turned rogue.

Both joint sponsors of the Resolution, Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) and Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) who were both granted access to the 28 pages, were shocked at the "high level of foreign state involvement in that attack" as described in those 28 pages. Neither congressman can divulge anything re. the specifics of those pages, under threat of prosecution, but previous information already released by the CIA clearly points to the Saudi élite as instrumental in 9/11.

Let us see if Congress dares to tell America the truth. Saudi Arabia is not our friend.

904, I believe aliens are stealing my luggage. That doesn't really apply to this conversation, does it?

This post is without a photo so speculation is king.

It belongs to a Saudi family who come to town periodically to vacation. They usually stay for several weeks.

UCSB has long been the favorite school for many of the 59,672 "Saudi Princes" to come to America from Saudi Arabia on an "educational visa", buy a condo or a house and a Porsche or BMW with all that oil revenue from daddy and play the role of student prince, enhancing our educational diversity, which is far more important these days than actually getting a substantive education. Given the recent incident with the resident pornography professor I wondered if one would major or minor in pornography or was that one of those classes that you could take "pass/fail" to avoid any impact on one's grade point average. Can't imagine what the final looks like! Maybe it's a "take home" exam.
