Fresh Squeezed Juice
updated: May 01, 2014, 2:36 PM

Do any of your readers know of a place that sells fresh squeezed lemon juice without anything added? Buying a juicer is the next option however I'm checking if there is anywhere local first.

I second 624... I've had really good luck with lemons for that.

No really though, get a juicer, they are awesome and lemonade is the tip of the iceberg once you get On The Juice!

And for the record, Tri County's has a LOT of sugar added. Thus, it's amazing lemonade, but certainly not virgin. 'Course, no one wants to drink lemon juice with no sugar added!

Poster: Technically, you are looking for an electric citrus reamer, not a juicer. The citrus reamers are much less pricey than a juicer. A good juicer costs $100s and a good electric reamer will set you back about $40 or so.

I recommend going with stainless unit, which could be $50 or a bit more. Nothing like fresh squeezed. I made lemonade today and lemon cheesecake yesterday. Great weather for lemon treats.

Warning: Pure lemon juice will take the enamel right off your teeth.

It's far best to squeeze it yourself. Give it a try. And the fresh lemon aroma (which is absent from lemon juice in a jug) will provide you with a memorable sensation as you do your cutting and twisting to your fav soul grooves.

I have an electric juice reamer that cost less than twenty bucks and is perfect for citrus. I also have one that was my grandpa's that is non-mechanical and made of thick glass. You could probably pick one up in a thrift shop.

By squeezing it yourself! And once you have squeezed out all the juice toss the rest of the lemon in the garbage disposal (in the sink) and run it, fills your kitchen with an amazing lemon aroma. So much better than anything store bought.
