David Powdrell shared this photo of his favorite spring flower. As spring advances, we can only hope to see more and more of the maroon and gold petals of this beautiful seasonal lily.

The family of Mallory Dies, the local woman killed in a DUI hit and run last December, are suing Congresswoman Lois Capps, her former aide Raymond Morua, and the U.S. government in federal court.
