Funk Zone Tasting Room
updated: Apr 08, 2014, 11:38 AM

By Edhat Subscriber

I am hosting a bridal shower for approximately 15 people. I'd really like to do it at a tasting room in the funk zone. Does anyone have a recommendation, or know of any tasting rooms that have private areas? Thanks in advance for your help!

Might be nice to check out the brand new Lafond tasting room. Supposed to open any day now.

Les Marchands might? I second Municipal, have seen a lot of parties held there.

While not a tasting room, 7 Bar has a very pleasant patio that is quite private.

530 - you are such a tease. While Guitar Bar is 'awesome' if you're in the market for a guitar - it's not a tasting room....

Bay Roadhouse Bar & Grill at 202 State St. is the place to go. Huge outdoor patio, a great selection of your favorite wine/beer/adult beverages, plus an extensive menu of classic food. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the food/drink wait times are impressive. It's walking distance to almost everything and they also have ample parking.

I did a small event at the Santa Barbara winery in the Barrel Room. Suzanne was wonderful to work with and used John at Creative Services Catering. It looked fantastic, super food and wine, wonderful memories!
Two thumbs up!

Second Corks and Crowns. We had our rehearsal dinner there. If you join their wine club you get a nice discount on wine. Plus you can bring your own food.

The private room at the Lark is gorgeous and I agree with Aquaholic that their food is delicious. Bring your checkbook.

Fox Wine Co is housed in the Santa Barbara Art Foundry and hosts private parties. It's a fantastic venue for a gathering.
