April 2, 2014 - Colorful Wood Ducks

Denise Dewire spent some time at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden and took photos of the various gorgeous flowers in bloom. She also captured this male Wood Duck at Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens. Another reader recently took a trip to the Botanic Garden and shared her photos of the wildflowers in bloom.

In local news, a reader reported a vehicle traveling the wrong direction on Hwy 101, ways to shepherd a hive of bees were discussed, and although MuttMates was an April Fool's joke, the edhat community showed genuine interest in the idea of a dog dating service! Read these stories and more below.
