County Settles Sexting Scandal

KEYT is reporting that Santa Barbara County Supervisors have settled the infamous "sexting scandal" involving Undersheriff Jim Peterson and Search and Rescue Public Information Officer Valerie Walston for $30,000. The initial claim filed by Walston alleging sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, assault, battery, blackballing and emotional distress sought in excess of $10,000.
