If you're looking for agronomic testing, Agri Turf Supplies in SB (Las Positas @ 101) will handle it for you.

If for structural concerns, Fugro Geotechincal.

assuming this is for soils analysis for construction potential, there are several reputable firms in the Tri-Counties area, Coast Valley Testing and Pacific Materials Lab top the list locally.

To find out about your garden soil, go to Agri Turf, as mentioned above. They can tell you if amendments are needed for successful vegetables and flowers.

County Ag Dept will look at plants, branches, leaves and tell u whats up, for FREE. They also will send soil samples out. I have a phone # somewhere and will post that seperately.

There is a university back east that does soil testing for a ridiculously low price. Farmer Fred of Sacramento area probably has the name on his web page. He broadcasts through KFIA in Sacramento so there would be a link there too.
