Scanner Reports 3-28-14
updated: Mar 28, 2014, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

FRYday is finally here. I wish my eyes worked better than they have been for a while now or maybe it's just me, so many typos besides my scrappy grammar. Then there is something else troubling me I don't think I will ever be quite normal, I thought I was getting part way there till a couple weeks ago and now I feel as though I'm sliding backwards into darkness. Thursday Morning I had a terrible Panic Attack, I still have numbness in my neck and so I went hunting on the internet to research it a little in big black letters the first thing I read associated with numbness in the neck was Spinal Meningitis. I had that once and am pretty sure I won't live through it again so I had a meltdown thinking about it. I ran over to Belinda's house the 2nd time this week and had an anxiety attack on her front porch. The first one that I had was over the death of the young man at the high school in the pool. It took a while to calm down like the last time and a couple of my neighbors were looking at me strangely, but they always look at me like that. I didn't call 911 and that's what's important! I'm winning this war one day at a time! Friggen Anxiety Attacks! If the guys in the white coats woulda showed up I woulda hopped up on the gurney and secured myself in restraints. Oh well I do my Best. None of us in this old world is Normal anyway, not even those who think they are.

Heard a call at a nursing home on Patterson Check the Welfare of a patient there Reporting Party thinks the elderly female is being 242ed by the staff. Business as Usual in the Nursing home industry. Younger people should keep in mind that someday they might be in one of those places in the same position as those elderly are today, unable to protect themselves. No one thinks about that stuff when they are young. A lot of Suicide attempts as always, one guy attempted suicide by drinking a bottle of Nyquil I never knew Nyquil could kill you. I drank a bottle of that stuff once because I was broke and had no booze. It was one of the worse experiences I have ever had in my life. I got arrested, taken to the Sober Center and I was so out of it I couldn't leave. They cut me loose at 3am and it took me hours to get back to work usually about a half hour walk took me 3 hours. Then I was supposed to drive to Oxnard and pick up equipment for my boss but passed out in his van with the engine running at Mission and State Streets. It was one of the dozens of times he fired me from the job it was a real hot day and they dragged me out of the vehicle and laid me down in front of Garrett's restaurant. It was in the 90's that day. I came to around 3 in the afternoon with my lips sun burned together the sun beating down on me all day. You know that scrappy feeling you wake up and there's this gunk in your mouth everything is dried up and you feel like you would kill someone for a drink? I got fired for a day or two and though I coulda detailed a couple cars I did one, washed a couple others, pounded a case of beer later on. No More Nyquil for me!

I liked this call on Thursday Report of a male removing his clothing in front of "Wash and Go" in the 800 Block of North Milpas. Was he going to wash the clothing he had on? Then go and come back later? I don't know but I'm wondering.

  • Check Stearns Wharf for a 5150 in his 40's dreadlocks, no shirt making lewd comments to people.

I gotta get out more often no one has said anything lewd to me in years. I got my red and orange tee shirts the orange ones are really freaking out the neighbors I feel like stenciling 5150 on the back of all of them just so everyone knows it's me the crazy one in the neighborhood. The only thing that prevents me from doing that is that I might be arrested for stealing Jail Clothing and I bought these tee shirts that would be a bummer but I do kinda enjoy the looks I'm getting. Will that's enough outta me for now Have a Great Weekend and Dog Willing We Will See You on Monday. Later, Roger
