Scanner Reports 3-17-14
updated: Mar 17, 2014, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Monday-Monday. You know there's nothing better than a nice walk and a good book when you're feeling down, so on Sunday mid-morning I took a walk to Catholic Charities Thrift Store to search for a good book or two. It was a great walk. On the way there people were out and about everywhere you looked. Kinda reminded me of the good old days; kids running around eating ice cream screaming yelling having a good time being kids. Someone's BBQ going Nice Hot Sunny Day. I got to Catholic Charities and found a couple books one on Irish Folk Tales, the other African Folk Tales, not much else there. A Nicholas Sparks, but romance gives me gas. Anyway I was walking back I felt so much better my whole week pretty much SUCKED, this little walk took care of that. I got to Milpas and Jennings there were a couple women there one holding a baby I smiled at them and one called me LOCO. LOCO? Can you imagine that? Whaat? Does everyone know me on Milpas Street? This is why I usually take the back roads so I don't have to look at anyone but my favorite Cacique goes past the Firehouse and those guys might throw a net on me, think I'm Big Foot or something. Oh Well I had a good walk anyway. Gotta stop thinking about what others think of me.

Of course then there's the tee shirts every summer. I like to get new tee shirts for the summer. I'm a good shopper don't think pocket tee shirts should cost 20.00 each even for 5XL But when they are on sale you gotta take what you can get can't expect to get exactly what you want and pay 10 bucks for each one. I got orange and red tee shirts the same orange and red colors that the County Jail uses to clothe the emotionally unstable prisoners. Sometimes you just can't win but what the HELL, maybe less people will ax me for spare change.

Still a lot of Drunk Drivers out there I gotta say I just don't get it I think people got to be real stupid or crazier than me or Both to Drink or Use and Drive it's Soo Stupid! Heard this one on Saturday he got followed all the way home by a reporting party got two addresses from the front of his house then BUSTED. What the HELL is it about driving and drinking that people cannot stop? I know a lot of people are tourists. Every couple months it seems like someone gets killed from a Drunk or DUI driver I guess it's just going to keep going on. Oh Well I'd rather Be Crazy than a Drunk Driver.
