Patience and Impermanence

Even if you stay four minutes, it's worthwhile to see the mandala being made inside the Unitarian Society at Arrellaga and Santa Barbara St. On my walk there, I looked forward to seeing one of the first trees in the neighborhood to be filled with blossoms. For decades it was a reminder, symbol of hope and renewal. Today I was surprised to see the tree gone. Now it's a reminder not to expect, impermanence.
