Scanner Reports 3-14-14
updated: Mar 14, 2014, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Thank Dog it's FRYday. The other day I was in Rite Aid getting some stuff I was heading for the registers when I noticed a fella who was crippled up a bit. Somehow I got the idea he might be a Vietnam Vet not sure just kinda thought he might be. He's standing in line with a beer and says out loud for everyone to hear, "I'm not normal when I do LSD." As if he was making an excuse for buying the beer. I answered back "I'm not normal when I drink alcohol." They don't sell LSD at Rite Aid and I did not have any in my cart. I noticed something in the news lately about LSD aka Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, apparently according to an article written by April M. Short for Alter Net, LSD can reduce anxiety. When I see my doctor today I'll be requesting my prescription. Will that didn't happen but he did say the spider bite looked cured with no signs of any MRSA. Funny, the Firemen and Medics all said MRSA; guess that proves they ain't doctors.

It's funny how someone's actions can change the way you think about something. It's like putting along on the straight and narrow all of a sudden having to shift gears to avoid a collision. I guess the Lord Thy Dog thought I needed a little eye opener so He, She, or ? put a wall in front of me to show me something I needed to see. Funny how things seem to happen that way. Went to 7-11 today got my brain frozen on one of those Diet Cherry Cokes. There was so many people in the store I did not get a lid or a straw. I just wanted to get outta there and I did. Standing near Fresh and Easy pouring that ice cold slushy down my throat, I forgot about "Brain Freeze" you can get that at any age, not just when you're a kid, or a kid at heart like myself. Anyway it was good, real good. I wanted more but had to go pick up some sauerkraut for my simple St. Patrick's Day Meal. Every year I make it hard, but not this year Sausage Potatoes, onions, and sauerkraut and that's it. Anyway gonna spend the weekend cleaning up the old Homestead. I have a lot of junk and it's all going to smell like Lavender by Monday.
