29th annual Staff Recognition Dinner

Opening remarks given by Chief Beverly A Taylor and the Honorable Arthur Garcia on March 7, 2014, kicked off the Santa Barbara County Probation Department's 29th annual Staff Recognition Dinner at the Rancho Santa Ynez Valley Marriot. The dinner honored probation personnel for their accomplishments in 2013.

Award recipients included: Support Staff of the Year: Santa Maria Juvenile Hall, Food Service Worker, Monica Cowger; Institutions Staff of the Year: Santa Maria Deputy Probation Officer, Senior, Polly Armstrong; Adult Deputy Probation Officer of the Year: Santa Maria Deputy Probation Officer, Senior, Fred Cobb; Juvenile Deputy Probation Officer of the Year: Lompoc Deputy Probation Officer, Lesli Stamm; Supervisor of the Year: Santa Maria Supervising Probation Officer, Maria Delauretis; Bulldog Award: The staff assigned to the Lompoc Probation office; Star Award: Santa Maria Administrative Office Professional, Expert Debra Anderson; Chief's Award: Probation Manager, Dennis Pankratz.

In addition to the awards, Second District Supervisor Janet Wolf addressed the assembly and Supervisor Wolf and First District Supervisor Salud Carbajal and Fourth District Supervisor Peter Adam presented service pins to those employees with 20, 25 and 30 years of county service.
