Goleta Beach! Nice place for a ride and picnic. Thank you for the clean up. One way to become a pro active community member.

Gaviota. But I doubt that they have the few $100,000 it's going to take to fix it.

They all need help I am sure....I was at East Beach on Sunday and walked down to the 3 boats that were stranded and was so happy to see people cleaning up the volleyball areas. They were a mess! Don't know if they were volunteers , but was impressed.

West Beach. Right in front of the harbor. It's littered... not just with kelp and trash, but giant pipe sections and machinery. Very unsightly. Been like that now for days.

538. The unsightly machinery is setting up to dredge the harbor. Sorry if you find it annoying.

Everybody should take all the sand you took home in your shoes and return it to Goleta Beach.

They should have never put the boulders at Goleta to start with.

Sand comes and goes with the tides, naturally! Winter storms, ahh just what this shell collector has been waiting for! Happens all the time, if ya lived here long enough you know and won't fret! Just wait till our seasonal fires, ya ain't seen nothing yet!

Was at Hendry's today and low tide was acting like high tide (since so much sand was gone) but other than being a little rockier than usual it was in pretty good shape. So I would say Goleta or West Beach.

It is nice to pick up trash at any beach. If the beach retreats,, if picnic tables amd parking spaces disappear that is just nature doing its thing and dealing with the man made objects or encumbrances placed in its path.

They could come get the scraps of Gaviota Pier off of Ellwood Beach and cobble it back together.

Mesarats, dredging the harbor? Or letting nature "do its thing"? Which one... you can't have both.

Does 568 not know that Goleta Beach is Man Made. Of course they need the boulders, otherwise there would be no airport, no beach, etc. In fact, they need more boulders, or the beach will be gone!!!
