Storm Stories
updated: Mar 04, 2014, 5:43 PM

By John Wiley

Here are storm stories from my flight Sunday afternoon. It seems Moby's broken window was a new tourist attraction. People were alos examining the boats aground on East Beach. The islands in the Bird Refuge are islands again. Some areas of the harbor were clogged with seaweed and debris. Lastly, the storm runoff edge was clearly visible offshore, reinforcing the maxim to hold off on surfing after storms. I also saw several dozen individual plastic bags floating here and there in the water like giant dead jellyfish, and wondered if they decompose or are any threat to marine life and birds.
