Scanner Reports 3-3-14
updated: Mar 03, 2014, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Monday-Monday. OK,OK, the rain can take a break now. I need to wash a couple loads of clothes. I don't have a Laundry room or basement; all my stuff is outside. The power went off twice. Not sure if all of my food's still good but I'll be finding out. Can't afford to throw it away. I'm grateful for all the rain though and hope we get s'more. It's been real nice, tornado warnings a little unsettling but acceptable vs having no rain at all.

Some criminals braved the weather to commit crimes though not as much as usual. Been sleeping really good listening to those rain drops. I haven't slept this well in weeks. I missed going down to the coastline and watching the waves come in over the breakwater and thru Moby Dicks. I don't think the waves were quite that high way back then. To go down there I woulda got soaked and I sure don't want to get sick. I have been trying to avoid that all season. Hard to believe it's already March; pretty soon it will be May. Looks like our storm made the national snooze. I knew it would. I kinda wonder what our storm is going to be like when it gets to the Mid-West. They are sick and tired of being sick and tired as the weather there that snow just keeps coming. It's kinda fun to tease them when they complain about all the snow and cold temperatures, I say back "Well I'm sorry it's 85 degrees here people are on the beach in their birthday suits it's quite annoying really." Some of them get kinda angry when I write that. Here at Edhat we're all about Community. I saw that on Google about Edhat, but people need to be reminded that this is what Edhat is about when we are commenting back and forth about one thing or another and some LOSER TROLL cuts us down.

First time I'd heard about the two deputies getting attacked in SBCJ 2/9/14 was in an article online in Yahoo Finance. Did anyone see this in the local snooze when it happened? I'm just wondering because it seems like something I would have heard about. I know I don't hear everything because it doesn't always come over the scanner the way it should. Of course I hear many things and I could have written about it and completely forgotten. I'm not a computer. Speaking of computers, mine is giving me HELL. Been on the edge for daze and sometimes I just want to SCREAM. I did today, walking back and forth RANTING and RAVING while Ballistic Belinda hides, as if I'm a MANIAC! It feels good to SCREAM once in a while. Hopefully everything will go back to ABnormal soon.
