Miracle at Garden and Islay

Throughout the land of Santa Barbara all was dry as dust for for years and the government declared an awful drought. Our leaders sought out solutions and urged us to be abstemious with water so that it might be good.
Finally one day and night of rain came and the people rejoiced. In some quarters, in the mountains on the south facing slopes, the green grass sprang up like magic, nature's gift to the people and to the beasts of the wild. And it was good.
And then BEHOLD! On that very spot of contention between the rulers and the ruled at the Land of Garden and Islay, the rain fell and the earth was especially fecund with an upwelling of ancient stones. Not only was it unusual, it was astounding and perhaps dangerous....
