Trespass Trail & Gaviota Hot Springs

TRESPASS TRAIL AND GAVIOTA HOT SPRINGS SIERRA CLUB HIKE PHOTOS!
Saturday's Sierra Club hike was fairly mellow and easy with a pleasant group of fourteen people!
We started at the Gaviota Peak trailhead, right by the Gaviota tunnel, along Highway 101. We hiked a little-
known fairly short loop off the Trespass Trail which is off of the Gaviota Peak trail. About 700 feet elevation
gain. Mostly views of gnarled oak trees and nice views of the Gaviota Pass.
The only disadvantage of this trail was a section with poison oak; hard to see in this season where most of
the leaves are off of it.
After that we made a short half mile round trip visit to the Gaviota Hot Springs. Several people opted to
enter the upper Hot Springs pool to various degrees of immersion! The pool was a pleasant bath water
