February 19, 2014 - A Murder, You Say?

The collective name for a group of crows is a flock or the slightly more sinister term - a murder. A subscriber was curious about the origins of the murder of crows that hangs out near Rhoads in Goleta and edhatters had a lot to say about these intelligent and social birds.

In local news, there was a single-vehicle turnover crash on Hwy 101 just north of Los Carneros Rd., a man was arrested after walking around his De La Vina Street property with a semi-automatic handgun, and KCRW is buying Santa Barbara's classical station KDB. Read these stories and more below.
