Wedding Invitations
updated: Feb 16, 2014, 8:55 AM

Does anyone have a referral for wedding invitations in town? Somewhere I can actually look at the product and pick what I want (not from a picture in a magazine). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Paper, ink in the gelsons shopping center is the best. They'll work with you to customize the invitations however you'd like

Try the party place in Loretta Plaza, Glenda's I think.
If they don't have them, I bet they can give a good recommendation.
Not sure but I think they were Glenda's Bridal Cove (1980's) before they became a party shop.
There is a stationery store in that shopping center too. The name escapes me, but it's by the travel agency, and Chaucer's.
Don't cringe at the next suggestion... but back in the day...Kinko's (I know, I know) use to have a big book of invitations you could peruse and actually see a physical product. They don't print it on site, it's sent out to a regular printer, I believe. They were pretty nice...but that was 100 years ago, give or take.

The Stationery Collection on East Valley Road in Montecito. They're across the way from Tecolote bookstore. They have a huge selection and their shop is adorable. I do all my holiday cards, event invitations, and anything wedding related. Good luck, have fun!

I made my own, went to Michaels, picked out the beautiful ones I likes, used their simple program to enter my info, had my daughter add an amazing watermark of an oak tree, then hand addressed them. They were so pretty, and it was fun to do them myself. Cost...about 40 including the stamps.
