Gibraltar Level
updated: Feb 12, 2014, 8:18 AM

By John Wiley

Curious about whether recent rain had helped the lake level in Gibraltar, I saw this on Tuesday. Looking at the edge of exposed lake bed to the left of the dam in these two aerials, I was sad to see that it actually seems a bit lower now than before the rain. Anyone have numbers on the three reservoirs? The small isolated pools along the dry river bed did seem a bit bigger, so maybe there had been some hillside and creek runoff feeding them?
