Basil's mother (a border collie) was found pregnant on the streets of Palmdale. I rescued him when he was a 10 pound puppy...now
he's a two and a half year old 95 lb gentle beast! A mutt among mutts, he's a fanatic for tennis balls and specializes in rock climbing.
He is a lover of people, other dogs, and hikes but he's also content basking in the sun or lazing around the house.
Impressive is the only way to describe the meticulous way he extracts the plastic squeaker from toys, just like a surgeon.
He hates to see you go but is always there waiting patiently for you to return. Whether he's giving sassy looks, making Chewbacca
noises, begging for food, or enjoying ripping a tennis ball to shreds, Basil has an expressive face that you can't help but love.
