Scanner Reports 2-10-14
updated: Feb 10, 2014, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Good Morning Santa Barbara, it is Monday. I was checking out the online dictionaries this morning and I looked up two words; Domestic and Terrorism. This is what I found. "Domestic", of relating to or made in your own country. "Terrorism", the use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area. Words have different meanings but within the definitions of these words are these meanings. This came from the online Merriam Webster Dictionary. There is a lot of Terrorism in Santa Barbara, "The use of violent acts to frighten people in an area." There is Aggressive Panhandling for one where panhandlers get up in people's faces and raise their voice in a demanding manner to beg for spare change. That is not all they do. Some people are followed or shadowed by people begging for money. In the parking lot of Starbucks on Coast Village Road a couple were panhandling only the women in the parking lot. Some people pull out knives and play with them while asking people for money, some of the knives with over a 3 inch blade is illegal to carry in the city of Santa Barbara. Many Aggressive Panhandlers perform their act of Aggressive Panhandling while drunk because they have no balls when they are sober. When they are drunk they become loud which is another tactic used to frighten or terrorize people out of their money. Other crimes committed in this manner include Strong Arm Robbery, Armed Robbery, Purse Snatching, Various types of Theft, Assault, Battery, Assault and Battery, Criminal and or Terrorist Threats, Rape, various other Sex Crimes, Domestic violence, Child Abuse, so on and so forth. According to Roger, a Domestic Terrorist is a Criminal in the United States that uses violent acts to terrorize their victims. I choose to call criminals in Santa Barbara that break the law in this manner Domestic Terrorists.

This just in. Homicide is down in Gary, Indiana. Every year since 2000 there has been at least one Homicide within the first two weeks of January in Gary Indiana. So far this year there have been no Homicides. The reason? The cold weather is being credited no one wants to go anywhere when it's that cold maybe they are afraid their bullets will freeze, I've always shot blanks myself.

Drunk and DUI Drivers are still driving Drunk, and under the influence so WATCH OUT! They don't care who they mow down with their 2000 pound missiles!

Illegal Campers are camping all over the place, even in the Boon Docks. Starting to hear more calls and reports of people illegally camping on people's property; on Ranches or other types of property out there in the Boon Docks. Also hear of warming fire activity out there since not many people are responsible enough to put out their warming fires these need to be called in so they don't become Brush fires, and in some cases Forest Fires.

Now if the criminals that are on the run from the Law could be extradited back to where they are wanted from we might not have to build a North County Jail. In Fact there might be a lot more room in our existing jail. We could save a lot of money in Santa Barbara if there was a cheap way to extradite wanted criminals back to where they are wanted from. Several times a day I hear criminals getting ran for Wants and warrants. Some are wanted from other states or cities for various crimes ranging from minor to serious some are registered sex offenders on the lam. It's really not all that safe to camp out in Santa Barbara anymore, even in your own back yard. Campers can be found as they camp all over town. Squatters manage to find out where the vacant structures are. I have heard of squatters sleeping in vacant structures all over Santa Barbara even in Montecito. I don't know how they find out a place is vacant exactly, maybe through Day Labor, Casing Hoods, or maybe even Rental Lists. That would be my guess.

Will that's enough outta me for now I hope I explained my use of the words domestic and terrorism good enough for those who are attempting to change the way I do things. If not, don't read it if my opinion bothers you so much, others don't seem to mind it. I'm sure there is a medication out there that covers this sort of thing. You may not be able to do other things like fart like a motorcycle anymore, or touch the tip of your nose with your tongue, but who cares; you'll be more accepting of other people's opinions. Isn't dat what life is all about? Anyway have a great Monday and Dog Willing We will see you on Wednesday. Later, Roger
