February 6, 2014 - Calming Canyon

Palm Canyon, near Palm Springs, presented John Wiley with a refreshing escape from California's drought. Through the trees, a flowing creek reminded of a time when water was more abundant.

In local news, two Mexican nationals that rammed a Coast Guard boat were found guilty of federal charges, the SBC Grand Jury recommends a revision of County Main Jail release procedures, and the City of Goleta broke ground on the Los Carneros Overhead Bridge Replacement Project.
