Formatting a Presentation
updated: Feb 05, 2014, 7:45 PM

I am doing a presentation that involves a great deal of computer work, putting together a handsome binder for each of the five participants. I have an Apple laptop and have gotten most of the information into the computer, so I now need someone to format it for me. I can verbally convey the design and layout, but I cannot do the actual graphics part.

You might try Michele Miotto. I can't add a link but if you google her name and morning sketches you will find her page. She is a commercial graphic designer.

Check with Anna Lafferty [in phonebook/Noleta]. I know she has done InDesign books and is now (also) doing eBooks.

Call around/Ask around. Call SBCC or UCSB Computer Science department; Apple Store; former MacMechanic; SBAUG. Pose your question. Perhaps take your computer with everything and ask how you can format for yourself? People at Kinko's copy counters on South Hope and on State Street seem quite knowledgeable and may show you how between customers. Adult Ed's teachers and Apple Stores (Ask the manager. $99 a year) Doing it yourself (easy when you know how) is the best to use your own taste. :-)
