I screwed up then not engine 17 mixed up the calls sorry but there is a report of a homeless guy starting fires in the Santa Ynez riverbed and I think they said it's near a golf course..I just happened to hear engine 17 at the same time. Sorry about that..It's not easy plucking calls off the scanner sometimes..

Yea thats it 70P Thanks there is a group of 3 transients in the area. I'd call them homeless but if they are setting fires I'd like to call them something else.

I really don't see how those statements could be trollish especally since the ACLU hasn't sued Websters dictionary to get them to take the word "Bum" out of the dictionary yet..Besides the authorities are not doing anything about it just checking on it. Did anyone see the 10PM News KTLA Fryday night where the woman got attacked by a tresspasser in her back yard? Sleeping in her back yard just feet from her baby, third tresspasser that week. Her camera caught the scuffle it went on for sometime the guy actually had a car parked on the street in front of her house, WHAT THE HELL? That was in Hemet..So because the cities are not doing anything were supposed to let people run all over us too? I know people have rights to live and breathe and sleep outside if they want to I have no problems with that but they don't have the right to violiate others or burn our towns down it makes me almost understand why the deaths of the homeless are not investigated as much. As far as leaving a carbon print one warming fire is one thing this sounded like maybe this guy was setting several fires in the riverbed not just one warming fire..

Cox carries KTLA on Channel 9 and I love their news it reminds me of my own channel 9 news back in Chicago. I started with calling the homeless, transients on the Scanner Reports because I report what I hear and that is what the police call them but stopped doing it for awhile because I did not think it was a nice term. I've been calling them homeless for awhile now but in reality they are neither Transient because they are not going anywhere, or homeless because they do not fit the term of homeless people who are those who are in need of a home..Domestic terrorists sounds like a good term to use because that is what the criminal element of the homeless population protrays themselves to be.
