January 31, 2014 - The Starfish and The Dog

Once a month, volunteers and dogs from the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter get together and take a nice long walk on the beach. This little dog seems completely mesmerized by the starfish she has happened upon.

In local news, a fatal traffic accident on Hwy 1 at Jalama resulted in major traffic delays, Santa Maria police warn that a groper on a bike has struck again, and the city has ordered an in-depth look at the Police Department protocols. Read these stories and more below.
