The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office will kick off the 2014 Tip-A-Cop season tomorrow January 29, at Chili's located in the Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta. From 4:30 p.m.to closing, the public is invited to order dinner and be served by volunteer waiters and waitresses from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office, Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office, Santa Barbara County Probation and University of California Santa Barbara Police Department. The tips earned by the volunteer servers will go directly to benefit Santa Barbara County Special Olympics. Sheriff Bill Brown will be your MaƮtre d' and Lt. Butch Arnoldi will be waiting tables, as he has done the past 30 years since the Sheriff's Office started doing Tip- A-Cop Events.
