Red Crescent
updated: Jan 26, 2014, 7:02 PM

By John Wiley

The red sail was in sunlight but the boat and sea were already dark at the moment I flew by headed for SBA. The camera could barely capture any details of the bright sail, so I pumped it with an image editor to get this red crescent. It's more like what we saw in terms of the brilliance, but of course unlike the camera our eyes still saw details. Is it more artistic too?
