Gibraltar Dam
updated: Jan 20, 2014, 8:20 AM

By Edhat Subscriber

My wife and I are training for a marathon and always looking for new places to run. Yesterday, we drove to Paradise Road and ran from Lower Osos to Gibraltar Dam and back. Never having seen the dam up close, it was quite interesting. With the recent discussions about Cachuma and the draught, I thought readers might be interested. Here are some photos, along with a County graph that shows how low the volume of water is. Elsewhere on the County site, it appeared to say that the current level is 5.9% of full (but I may be reading the table wrong).
