Will anutter Holiday came and went. I was really looking forward to all of it now I'm damn glad
gone! Something happened to me one day when I was walking in Rite Aide. something my mind could not
comprehend. It totally shocked my brain and threw my Holidays all to HELL. I never want to experience
that horrible insanity again.
Anyway I'm damn glad it's over and hopefully with DOG as my witness I will never have to face
reality again! Finally it's over and I can once again open my eyes to a nude day, the birds singing, the bees
buzzing the sun shinning HIGH up in the sky...I feel Blessed.
So I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday. Mine was Glorious, it really twas. I remember all
things that happened to me as a child. Many of the people that put me through HELL still live there in the
Midwest, while I live here in usually always Sunny Santa Barbara. I do hope that most of them will have no
trouble digging themselves out of Thee Great Blizzard of 2014, and won't be found in the Spring Thaw.
I knew a feller once many years ago in Fort Wayne, he got in a fight with a Drunk on the old
River Bridge. The drunk poked the feller in the face calling him a "Dirty Hippie." He was the wrong kinda
hippie to mess with, he was a HELL Raisin Biker. He never started fights, he always finished them. The story
went that he picked up that drunk and tossed him off that bridge. Well it was winter time and there was
snow and ice everywhere. Thee Old Saint Joe was frozen solid except for the hole the drunk fella made
falling thru it, they didn't find that drunk till the Spring Thaw. When they did they went looking for that
Biker fella, he was in Flordia copping some rays.
It's nice to get away from it all once in a while. When I was a kid I couldn't wait to get the
Indiana, and they could not wait for me to leave. It was a Mutual Agreement all the way around. But now
were all old, we have changed and think differently then. We did those many years ago. Life is much
different. I miss all that damn snow and those blizzards. All those years I spent out there on the road going
from one place to the next, meeting mostly good hearted, farted people. Most of them were good, some
were bad just like Life some good, some bad.
Mom told me on the phone "Over a foot over night the wind is howling the snow is over the tires
of my car
it has potential to be like Thee Great Blizzard of 1967." I will never forget that one, I was 8 years old I had
to walk on top of the fence to take the garbage out, I fell sideways into the snow and wasn't found for a
few moments. I thought for sure I wouldn't be found till the ( Fill in the blank.) Anyway I got a lot of Hot
Choclate for that it was worth it, and back then it was real hot choclate, with marsh mellows and whip
I feel bad that some folks gotta pay to get their walk ways cleared of snow and ice. It's real
Used to take me a half hour working fast and hard might get 3 or 4 dollars for that going rate, now 20 or
30 dollars. Get rich for a few days working back there. Would do that when I was out of work. Way back
then a couple bucks was better than none at all. One day got over 60 bucks doing a little over a dozen
drive and walk ways. Nowadays it's a pretty good day 240.00 or more. Makes me want to go home for a
little visit rake it in, but can't do it no more, between the crippled legs and my age. I'd disappear in that
snow for sure and ya know I wouldn't be found I might just disappear in that snow all together. Especially if
I was to fall into one of those natural ice chests, I may not have had a drink in almost 11 years it don't
mean I don't think about it now and then and there ain't no beer better in the
world than a Michelob frozen in the snow.
