December 29, 2013 - Yarn Bombs Away!

An edhat subscriber moonlighting as a yarn bomber shared these photos of their recent bomb project. Lizard's Mouth and the Sasquatch Cave have been covered by intricately weaved threads of colorful yarn. You only have until January 5th to see it in person so send your photos in to ed!

We're three days away from 2014 before the New Year resolutions begin. Most people choose to lose weight/exercise/live healthier, so that means you have 3 days to pack in as many sugar cookies, chocolates, and peanut brittle that you can before the first.

Our Cat of the Week is Stitch, a high energy kitten. Our Dog of the Week is Tyson, and active dog who is available for adoption. Our Non-Profit of the Week is Recovery Ranch, a sober living facility based in Santa Ynez. Fred shares his views on the recent sexting scandal, Chuck points out astronomical decorations, Brian helps share the laughs with his Insta-Lib video, Kevin is back with photoshopped history, and Eve lays out options for local students with disabilities.
