December 22, 2013 - Photoshopped History

Edhat subscriber, Kevin Allen, shares a variety of photos he edited using PaintShop Pro. Kevin took photos from the great 1925 earthquake that hit Santa Barbara like a ton of bricks (pun intended). He layered these historic photos in with modern day Google images of the exact location. The result is pretty fascinating! Kevin will have more photos for us next Saturday so be sure to check them out!

We are now only 3 days away from Christmas morning. How anxious are you to tear into those presents from Santa? The Dedicated Staff had an early holiday party this year to celebrate a year of hard work and many hours behind a computer screen. This year they went to Seven Bar & Grill and enjoyed a hefty amount of tasty food and drinks. Check out their holiday party here.

Our Cat(s) of the Week are Zinc and Mink, brothers who love to cause a ruckus. Our Dog of the Week is Jack Tiger, he certainly rules this household. Our Non-Profit of the Week is the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara who advances creativity and inspires through modern art. Kelley shares a quick tip on how to stay "green" while consuming local beer and wine, the Dedicated Staff explores the new upgrades to the Lobero Theatre, an edhatter shares a historical photo of a motorcycle shop, and Mission & State spends a night in the warming center.
