Mountain Lion Sighting

Mountain Lion grabs owner's pet near Cathedral Oaks and San Marcos Pass intersection. A resident of a nearby mobile home park has lost their 13 year old Bischon Friese to what is believed to be a mountain lion. The event occurred during the night of December 15, 2013, Sunday. Workers at the park reported that they spotted the tell-tale paw prints of a mountain lion and not a coyote. Pet owners should be aware that these predators are close to the homes of SB and should keep their pets indoors, especially after dark...though these creatures have been spotted during the daylight hours, as previously reported to EdHat on May 1, 2013....in the Los Carneros area.
