December 8, 2013 - 17 days and Counting!

On Friday Santa Barbara hosted its annual Downtown Holiday Parade which drew out tens of thousands of locals and visitors alike. The Dedicated Staff was busy counting santa hats for edhat's annual count. We tallied 1,025 red fluffy santa hats worn in the parade and our dedicated subscriber LouWho? was the closest guess by 1,023! We're continually impressed by edhatters guessing skills, it gets closer every contest.

Yesterday brought some much needed rain to our little blue town by the big blue sea. Just a few days ago an edhatter reported low water levels at the bird refuge and we have all been monitoring Lake Cachuma for a while now. Does anyone know the amount of rain we received on Saturday? Share your rain reports with Ed.

Our Dog of the Week is Ralphie who retired from the therapy biz. Our Cat of the Week is KiKi who is looking for a home.
