By Rger the Scanner Guy

Was reading the comments from an Edhat Thread the other day and one of them said something like "Too bad all you non gang injunction lovers don't live down here in gang territory and get harassed every day and experience what we go through." One of those comments meant to get goats. Will I'm not a politician. I'm not going to try and sell you WHY I don't think an injunction will work. What's the use? The Chosen Ones will just cut me down like they do everyone that disagrees with their way of life. The gang mentality within the comment section of that thread was totally overwhelming. There are gangs all over this world not just in the obvious places. They may not physically harm you but they will blast you with abusive words if you do not agree with them. If you work together you might find yourself out of a job.

Man, my experience with gangs and being terrorized are off the friggin charts. All my life I have dealt with that, but in reality the only gangs that really terrorized me are not street gangs. I relate to some of them because I too have been treated like dirt by bullies and haters. I'm against the injunction because I don't think it will stop violence. There might even be more violence. I heard on KEYT a couple weeks ago that Oxnard's Police Chief said that their injunction isn't working.

I remember being for the 3-Strikes law. I went out and passed out flyers in favor of it, asked people to sign a petition in support of it. It went through and there was some weird things happened there. 3 Strikes did not have to be 3 felonies it could be one felony and 2 misdemeanors. I saw a couple people get 25 to life on Shoplifting charges, charges of possession of small amounts of drugs. There has been a lot of abuse of the 3 Strikes Law thru the years, so now when something like this comes up I not only question it I analyze the HELL outta it but that's just me, my opinion. I'm so happy that we call all have our differences of opinions here on Edhat and still get along.
