November 24, 2013 - Guess The Island

The edhat community has been debating which island is which after Brett Cambern sent in this photo. Anacapa, Santa Barbara, Santa Catalina, San Clemente, Santa Cruz. Which islands do you think they could be?

Thanksgiving is only four days away! Have you stocked up on all the necessary supplies? For the first time ever, we have the rare convergence of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah on the same day. Ed has made it clear that this is a mathematical miracle and it won't happen again in our lifetimes. According to Ed, the two holidays won't sync again for another 75,000 years. This is something to celebrate! We are excited to see the many photos of food and fun this year.

Our Dog of the Week is Tula, an active pup looking for her next adventure. Our Cat of the Week is Boots, a confident neighborhood watch-cat. The Los Padres ForestWatch is our Nonprofit of the Week who works to preserve and restore the natural areas of our home. Tom explains how Goleta received its name and what details about the recent Goleta construction, Kelley is thirsty for pressed juice, and Lauren had a celebratory birthday dinner.
