AVOID LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - Airport is shut down due to an ongoing shooting incident
Law enforcement and other public safety agencies on scene handling a report of shots fired near Terminal
3. The incident is still developing.
For those traveling to LAX, there will be substantial delays to get access into or out of the airport.

LAX Situation Causes Ground Stop for Santa Barbara United Airlines Flights
SANTA BARBARA, CA – November 1, 2013
As of 11:33am all United Airlines Santa Barbara/LAX flights are on a ground stop due to the current situation at Terminals 2 and 3 at Los Angeles
International Airport. No other airlines flying into or out of Santa Barbara Airport have been affected at this time.
Passengers are encouraged to call their airline for any schedule changes and to watch their local news for changes in the situation at LAX.
The Airport will keep you updated as more information is released.

United Airlines Ground Stop at Santa Barbara Airport No Longer in Effect
The United Airlines ground stop to/from LAX is no longer in effect at the Santa Barbara Airport.
Passengers are encouraged to call United for the latest arrival and departure information due to possible delay of flights for today.
The Los Angeles International Airport is open except for Terminal 3.
