Monday Monday. Was watching the City Council meeting last week on TV and I really did not like what I saw during the Public comments. It was like the Mayor and Council just wanted to rush everyone thru like they really did not care what these people had to say. I wish I would have known how some of these people were before I voted for them. I sure got conned good. Of course they are all a bunch of politicians what should I expect?
This is the American Riviera, Paradise, home for many Rich and Famous people and those that want to get into their pockets, nice to their faces while stabbing them in the back. It seems that way with everyone though as people seem to becoming the new crop, especially those who are handicapped and elderly with a few bucks, or a little property to their name. The doctor that spoke in the public comments during that City Council meeting sure knew a lot about how certain organizations and how some attorneys and judges screw the elderly and handicapped in Santa Barbara. These people don't make it on their own merit it is far easier to con those that have a hard time taking care of themselves stick em in some home, some abusive nursing home, Senior living Home.
You become someone's Power of Attorney you can do all kinds of things with their lives besides pocketing all their money and selling their property. I have seen it happen to people here several times though some of the people that do this are well known in their communities they are lower than sex offenders to me as well as others who have been victims of their con. Seeing the doctor speak reminded me of some of the cases I knew about. I remember one where a good friend of mine got ripped off by this so called trustee who was holding onto her money for her. The trustee ripped off some of the money and left town before my friend could file a police report against the thief. The trustee was able to use the victim's own attorneys against her. It's too bad there is no real justice in this world. It's all business in this world it's nothing personal it's just business .Just like when someone had had enough and they take the matter into their own hands just remember it's nothing personal, it's just business.
Catalytic Converters are getting ripped off again better hide yours.

I had one of those blood sugar things diabetics get and I'm kinda ill. I'm taking my blood pressure now. It looks ok but I'm scared. Weird feelings for sure I thought "This is it; no more Edhat. What a bummer." More like, "This is it. No more peanut butter and a lot less coffee." I feel so strange but better than I did and though sometimes I feel like giving up I don't want to go.
I fell in love today with a red headed gal whose name I don't know. I just saw her crossing the street on Milpas. A bicyclist ran the red light and side swiped her a bit. It was pretty funny; the pedestrian redhead threw a drink in the bicyclist's direction. I think maybe the bicyclist said the wrong thing cause the redhead took off after her, and she could run. The bicyclist started pumping those pedals. Good thing there was no traffic. The bicyclist, another woman, went from the bike lane to the first and then 2nd traffic lane to get away from the redhead pedestrian, who chased her a good 200 feet.
Nothing like a little Road Rage to get the blood pumping.
That's enough outta me for now have a great Monday and Dog Willing We will see you on Wednesday. Later, Roger
