FRYday, its FRYday. I love the wind but not looking forward to the allergies and blowing SNOT outta my head for the next few days though I have sniffles much of the time most of the time it's manageable. I wonder why when there are dangers out there like a "High Fire Danger" does the Media tell everyone.
There are arsonists out there salivating at that news. Of course maybe if smokers that flip their cigarettes out of their vehicle windows hear that they will reframe from doing that for a couple days. I still hear of people that throw lit cigarettes out of car windows as they are traveling. It's very dangerous doing that. Fires produce very quickly with hot dry wind dry brush and a lit ash. If the potential of starting a destructive fire isn't enough maybe someone reporting the offender is when these calls come over the scanner it comes with the offenders information as most people reporting also report license plate numbers. So for those of you that smoke and flip cigarettes outta vehicles, please stop doing it. I'm not criticizing all smokers because most smokers are respectful somewhat I know I was a cigarette smoker for 33 years and unless some clown got in my face and started yelling at me I was respectable.
I don't feel so respectable right now I'm having one of those days where nothing I do seems right and it's pissing me off! Ever had one of those days? It's like everything you do is in slow motion so you never finish I'm going around in circles. I just bought a cup of soda pop ice and soda nice and cold going down my throat took one drink put the cup down and it disappeared. I have looked everywhere and I cannot find it. I found it over at my friend's house nearby; my friend who loves to drink, but the recovery is never fun because they have seizures and I watch out for them and attempt to maintain some type of sanity. The seizures and blackouts are getting worse of course alcohol does not help but good luck convincing an alcoholic of that. One day my friend will die of course. I'm no spring chicken; someday I'll be dead also so on and so forth over and over again. Sounds kinda like a square dance huh? The Square Dance of Life.
I went to Carl's this morning on Milpas out in the parking lot were three Santa Barbara Copper cars. They were searching the insides of a red car with Oregon plates. There were these two parolees eating their breakfast watching the Coppers intently as if the police were gonna make em any second and they would have to run for the hills. I wanted to know what the Coppers were up to so I turned on my scanner the headphones don't work anymore so I tossed em. The scanner went off "Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." Boy those guys were really jumpy I was more interested in them than I was the coppers so I turned the scanner off and waited for my grub. The police were searching West Beach and
Pershing Park like crazy on Wednesday Evening so perhaps the red car had something to do with that, or maybe the Nora units were having the vehicle searched. Either way whoever had been driving the vehicle was probably in deep poopy cause the Coppers were working it over real good.
Santa Barbara is one of those touristy towns that criminals like to hit because they think the police are stupid. I bet some of you think they are stupid too. I read those comments I used to think they were kinda dumb small town cops. I used to bust the law all the time where I came from once in a great, great while I'd get busted. First time I ever busted the law here in Santa Barbara I not only got busted I made the News Suppressed. It wasn't a very big article actually it was small but for years after that when someone saw my name they remembered the article. The crime didn't stick it was dropped way down to hardly anything, and then I got time served. Many potential employers remembered my name and told me so during job interviews where they also turned down hiring me because of that little tiny article on the back page of the News Suppressed it was just as well I couldn't hold a job anyway, though I tried. Santa Barbara Coppers are not stupid but go on and keep thinking they are.
