Meet Sophie & Fig

I am Sophie, and I'm moving to Santa Barbara soon with my little sister Fig. I found edhat, and now our
family reads it everyday.
Here are some pictures of us. Don't you just love my ears? I know they're not your typical Italian
greyhound ears, but since I'm in charge around this house, keeping the straight up helps me stay on top
The little one is my sister Fig. I don't know why Fig has to be touching me whenever she sleeps, but
We are ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS - not whippets - why does everyone think we're whippets? We are
smaller than whippets. If you must know, I'm 6 and a quarter years old and just over 10 lbs; Fig is
almost 3 and only 6 lbs. What a shrimp.
Are there any Italian greyhounds in SB? We told "She-who-must-be-obeyed" that we were not going to
SB if they didn't have Italian greyhounds, and she assured us that we'd find some. She's never lied to us
We are sad to leave our vet here on the east coast, but She assured us as well that we'd find a
sighthound-savvy vet out there, so if anyone can help us locate one right away, that would help us.
And She never lets us off leash, although it looks like there are fab beaches out there where I might be
able to roll in dead jellyfish or eat some seaweed. So just to amuse Her, are there any good fenced-in
areas where Girlz like us might do what we are born to do - RUN?
Oh, yes, and She says we are going to the Riviera, but we thought that was in Italy. We hope to see you
